Sensex made history again: The stock market started breaking records even today. The Sensex was at its highest peak of 70048 around 9:28 am. This is the first time that Sensex has managed to cross 70000.
The stock market started breaking records even today. Sensex opened with a rise of 100 points at an all-time high of 69925, while Nifty 50 started the day's trading today at 20934. The Sensex was at its highest peak of 70048 around 9:28 am. Whereas, at 21019.
In early trading, Sensex was trading at 69928 level with a gain of 102 points, while Nifty was also up by 17 points. Nifty top gainers were stocks like ONGC, Coal India, IndusInd Bank, Tech Mahindra, and SBI. On the other hand, in the list of top losers were Dr. Reddy, Asian Paints, Cipla, Sun Pharma, and Apollo Hospitals.
Weakness in Adani shares: In early trade, Adani Power was at Rs 529.05 with a weakness of about 0.89 percent. Adani Enterprises was up 0.06 percent at 2823.90. Whereas, even today Adani Total Gas was up 1.82 percent at Rs 1177.80 and Adani Green Energy was down 2.05 percent at Rs 1518.45. Adani Wilmar was down 1.40 percent at Rs 372.60. There was a decline of 1.60 percent in Adani Energy Solution in early trade and it was at Rs 1113.45. On the other hand, today ACC and NDTV were in the red. Whereas, Ambuja Cement was bullish.
