Sankranthiki Vasthunnam Movie Analysis:
Venkatesh, who played the role of a police officer, captivated the audience with his performance. Venky Mama is known for his comedy timing. With this, he made his mark in comedy scenes. He was especially impressed with his acting in the looks of a powerful police officer uniform with a panache kattu. After Lakke Bhaskar, Meenakshi Chowdhury was again seen in a full-length role in this movie.
She was especially entertaining in the powerful lady cop role. The flashback between Venky and Meenakshi in the song ‘Meenu’ impresses the audience. Aishwarya Rajesh, who looked homely in the role of a housewife, was also impressed with her performance. She impressed everyone by stepping up with Venkatesh in the song Rama Chilakaway on the banks of Godari. Although there were some lag scenes in the first half, the comedy twist increased the interest in the second half. It seemed okay.
The police action scenes that come in the second half start, the comedy of actor VT Ganesh, all seemed okay. Senior actors Upendra, Saikumar, Naresh, and others did justice to their roles well. But they should have been more careful in the climax. Especially in the action sequence, the emotions are mixed, so the audience does not connect much. But overall, it can be said that it connects well with the audience.
Technical performance:
Director Anil Ravipudi acted as the captain of the ship for this film. In terms of making, it can be said that the attempt made to impress with a family comedy without much scope for action scenes has been somewhat successful. However, having the experience of making F2 and F3 films with Venky Mama in the past, he has mastered comedy timing. With this, it can be said that the comedy scenes are well-made. Especially, the scenes of Venkatesh with his son Bulli Raju will make the audience laugh out loud.
As for the music, the music composed by Bheems Cicerolio worked like magic for this film. Songs like Ramachilaka, Meenu, Sankranthi Blockbuster, etc. on Godari Gattu became super hits. Beejiam also synced perfectly with the scenes. With this, this aspect was also a plus for the film. As for the editing, famous editor Tammiraju worked on this film.
Tammiraju used his experience of working on Baahubali and Magadheera in the past for this film. But it would have been better if some illogical scenes had been cut. This would have reduced the lag and prevented the audience from getting bored. More attention needs to be paid to the production department. The production values are clearly visible in the making of some scenes.
Verdict: This movie is the best option for those who want to enjoy action and comedy without expecting anything new from Anil Ravipudi. Also, it can be said to be a full-packed entertainment feast for those who want to go to the cinema with their family for the Sankranthi festival.
