Vettaiyan Movie Review: "Vettaiyan" is the latest film directed by T. J. Gnanavel, who impressed the audience with the film "Jai Bheem". Rajinikanth played the title role in this film, and Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati played key roles. The film, which was made as a police investigative drama, was released in Telugu with a Tamil title and created a small rush. However, the film team explained that the title "Vetagadu" was not available and that they were releasing it with a Tamil title. And let's see how this Tamil dubbing movie is..!!
Vettaiyan Movie Story:
Athiyaan (Rajinikanth), known as "Hunter" in the police department, has a good following as an encounter specialist in the public. However.. in the course of encountering the accused in the murder case of Sharanya (Dushara Vijayan).. Athiyan realizes that there are many loopholes in this case. Whose names came out in the investigation started by Atiyan? Why did they want to kill Sharanya? Who is behind her murder? The film “Vettaiyan” is the answer to such interesting questions.
Vettaiyan Movie Analysis:
"Vettayan" is a film that exposes the big scams that are done in the name of those encounters while supporting the police encounters. The appearance of Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan in this type of project gave good value to the topic that director Gnanavel wanted to convey. It is admirable for heroes with star status to make films of this nature. Along with mass elevations, it is important to feel a responsibility to remind the audience of the good and the bad in society. It would be great if more superstars followed this method from time to time.
Vettaiyan Movie Actors Performance:
Rajinikanth in this film's role of Atiyan impresses with his own style & screen presence. However, in the action scenes, his age is very clear. They are troubled even in a matter of small moments. It is better to be careful when designing such huge action scenes for him from now on. In fact, Patrick's character in this movie is not as big as Fahad should have played. He only acted concerning Rajinikanth.
The way the story is paced with his character is good. Amitabh appeared in a responsible role. His performance as a human rights officer adds good value to the film. Manju Warrier and Ritika Singh have done justice to their roles. As a corporate criminal, Rana Daggubati has embraced the character of Nataraj.
Vettaiyan Movie Technical performance:
First, we have to talk about the performance of director T.J.Jnanavel. Usually, the directors change their format depending on the hero and make films to suit the image of the hero. But Gnanavel's way of elevating the superstar image with his responsible story is commendable. The main plus point of the movie is how it is explained that justice is not what people want in anger in society by using a wonderful medium called cinema. Also, the action blocks are decent, without disappointing the fans of Rajinikanth and without getting involved in the story.
More importantly, the way police procedures & justice system are shown how to be responsible towards society is good. Also.. the manner in which the moneyed corporate criminals are changing the law and justice to their advantage, and how they are exploiting the weaknesses of the people, reminds us of the "Byjus App" incident that took place in the state. Above all, the dangers of instant justice are explained very well.
Gnanavel has enhanced his image as a director and storyteller. Anirudh (Anirudh Ravichander) has taken the film to another level with his work as always. Kathir's cinematography work is good. All the technical aspects like production design and artwork are plus points for the movie. In the matter of dubbing, it would have been better to have taken more care. Because.. The Telangana accent spoken by some characters is very unnatural.
Rajini Mark is a responsible film not to be missed!
