Anika Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabia Khatun, and Ramya Ranganathan played the lead roles in this movie. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music.. Let's see how this movie is in the review...
Jabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama Movie Story:
These days, youth are very attracted to love story films. It seems that this movie also came with such a story. In this movie, the people in the house arrange wedding rings for the hero. He is shocked to see the girl who has those wedding rings. The girl is his classmate.. They plan to decide on marriage after traveling for a week.. They already print the wedding cards at home. They are shocked.
Then he starts telling some stories to his classmates. Before that, he meets a girl named Neela and falls in love with her. Neela introduces Prabhu to her father (Sharath Kumar).
What obstacles did their love face after that? Why did they become distant? What happened after Prabhu went to Neela's wedding? What did the event planner Anjali do at the destination wedding in Goa?.. Who did Prabhu marry later in the story? Did Prabhu really get married? Or not? That should be seen in the movie..
Jabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama Movie Analysis:
This is the third film for the hero Dhanush as a director.. He achieved success with 'Rayan' last year.. The story of this film that has come now has no real connection to that film. A youthful romantic comedy. As a director and writer, he succeeded in showing the difference between the two.
Now, as for how this movie is.. Dhanush understands very well what kind of films should be made for the youth, and it seems that this movie has been successful by opening with such a team. As a director and writer, he did not give the audience a chance to satirize him in ‘Jabilamma Neku Anta Kopama’. We see many of this generation’s lovers kissing each other saying ‘Bujji Kanna’..
Actors Performance:
Since there are many scenes related to the youth in this movie, everyone’s performances have been amazing. Technically, the movie has shown a good output. Also, the music is good, the songs released by Jeevi Prakash are already trending on YouTube.
The first half is fun. But, the story does not move forward much. The concept of a rich girl falling in love with a middle-class boy is nothing new. But, the treatment given by Dhanush to it is good. Overall, it seems that Dhanush has scored another hit with this movie..
Plus points:
The storyline is good
The actors' amazing performance..
Music
Minus points:
It got a bit dull in the middle..
A little lag in the second half..
I must say that the movie will connect well with the youth..
Rating: 2.75/5
